Accounts Payable Specialist - Bell Brothers

About the Job
Overview:
This position is responsible for entering a high volume of invoices to our accounting system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive purchase order items, match purchase order and receipt to invoice, enter invoice into accounting software using appropriate GL code.
- Reconcile invoices entered to vendor statements.
- Prepare scheduled check runs or pay invoices through vendor portals; ensure bills are paid in a timely fashion to take advantage of vendor discounts.
- Maintain relationships with vendors to facilitate resolution of issues.
- Assist with month end close.
Qualifications and Desired Attributes:
- At least two years of high-volume accounts payable experience.
- The ideal candidate possesses a high level of reliability, precision, and attention to detail.
- Experience in construction or home services industries a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with Service Titan or Sage Intacct a plus.
- Initiative and ability to work independently and part of a team and organization.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
