Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments. Additionally, you will provide support for permits and coordination, assisting in various administrative tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, and payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with permit applications and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers and vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues.
• Support the finance department with month-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all payable transactions.
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for financial record-keeping and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
