~ What You’ll Do as a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist ~

• Review and verify invoices to ensure they are accurate and approved.

• Process payments to vendors through checks, electronic transfers, and other methods.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolving any payment issues.

• Help prepare monthly financial reports related to accounts payable.

• Make sure payments comply with company policies and regulations.

• Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger.

• Prepare journal entries for monthly account accruals.

• Work with vendors to solve disputed invoices while maintaining good relationships.

• Develop and improve accounts payable procedures.

• Keep accounts payable files organized and updated.

• Oversee the payment process, ensuring all documents and approvals are in place.

• Collaborate with other departments to improve processes.

• Handle inquiries from both internal and external sources.

• Complete year-end tasks such as 1099 filings and audits.

~ What You’ll Bring to the Accounts Payable Role ~

• 5-7 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Coupa software is a plus.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
