Accounts Payable Specialist - Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Position: AP Specialist- START RIGHT AWAY

$33-$37/hr

Key Responsibilities:

1. Invoice Processing:

   • Review and enter property-related invoices (e.g., utilities, repairs).
   • Ensure invoices match purchase orders or service agreements.

2. Payment Processing:

   • Prepare and issue payments to vendors and service providers.
   • Track payment due dates to avoid late fees.

3. Vendor Management:

   • Maintain vendor information (payment terms, contact details).
   • Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues.

4. Reconciliation:

   • Reconcile vendor statements and property expenses.
   • Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all payments are accounted for.

5. Expense Tracking:

   • Ensure property expenses are coded correctly for reporting.
   • Process employee expense reports related to property management.

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 1-2 years of accounts payable experience in property management , real estate, or construction.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Timberline, Sage 300).

• Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams and vendors.
