Position: AP Specialist- START RIGHT AWAY
$33-$37/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
- Review and enter property-related invoices (e.g., utilities, repairs).
- Ensure invoices match purchase orders or service agreements.
Payment Processing:
- Prepare and issue payments to vendors and service providers.
- Track payment due dates to avoid late fees.
Vendor Management:
- Maintain vendor information (payment terms, contact details).
- Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues.
Reconciliation:
- Reconcile vendor statements and property expenses.
- Assist with month-end closing by ensuring all payments are accounted for.
Expense Tracking:
- Ensure property expenses are coded correctly for reporting.
- Process employee expense reports related to property management.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 1-2 years of accounts payable experience in property management , real estate, or construction.
- Familiarity with accounting software and property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Timberline, Sage 300).
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams and vendors.
