Accounts Payable Specialist - Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a repeat client in the search for their next AP Specialist. The ideal candidate will have significant experience auditing, coding, and reconciling expense reports, particularly those related to travel expenses. This position will also involve full cycle AP processing duties, such as keying in invoice line items, assigning proper GL codes, and processing ACH / wire payments. Experience with vendor onboarding and maintenance is also a plus. This position has potential to become hybrid, but will start fully in-office at their Washington, DC location. Job Responsibilities

• Audits, reconciles, and codes individual expense reports and assists with travel related invoices/vouchers.

• Prepares individual employee expense reports for payment.

• Reviews and prepares Travel audit card database for production of delinquency reports and monthly change letters.

• Audits credit card MCC codes and unusual dollar amounts.

• Prepares credit card database for journal entries to accounting software and reviews pertinent General Ledger accounts for accuracy.

• Requires thorough understanding of new LM2 schedule definitions for coding of expense reports.

• Prepares journal entries as assigned.
