Essential Functions for the Accounts Payable Specialist:Data entry of AP invoices
3-way matching
Process weekly check runs by coding, obtaining approval, and administering payment
Reconciliations
Expense reimbursement
Process improvement
Act as backup for Accounts Receivable when necessary
Preferred Skills for the Accounts Payable Specialist:The Accounts Payable Specialist should have excellent communication and prioritization skills
Strong ability to multitask
Technologically savvy with ability to learn quickly
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication and ability to work in a team as well as independently

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
