VENTEON Fnance is hiring an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SUPERVISOR to provide support in Saginaw, MI area. You will provide support for a highly trusted insurance company.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. Direct Hire. Hybrid. PAY: $65,000 - $77,000 annually based on education and years of Accounting/AP/Supervision experience.

Requirements of the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar desired, not required.
- A minimum of 5 years of work experience in accounting that includes processing high volume Accounts Payable transactions.
- Prior experience hiring, training and supervising team members.
- Technical Skills with MS Office, Excel and an ERP system.
Duties of the Accounts Payable Supervisor:
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable function ensuring suppliers get paid on time and accurately.
- Hire, train, motivate, delegate, and evaluate Accounts Payable staff.
- Provide vendor record and 1099 management.
- Ensure proper invoice GL coding and system entry.
- Work with Treasury and bank on cash activities. Administrate company online banking access.
- Responsible for payment and payment distribution process.
- Resolve escalated accounts payable issues.
- Reconcile accounts and statements.
- Provide support for month end close activities. Produce reports.
- Assist with annual internal and external audit requests.
- Develop, recommend and implement operational plans and procedures.
