Accounts Receivable - Administrative Assistant

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health and social services agencies, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support accounts receivable-related duties for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  This position will involve processing check refunds and ensuring compliance with VA standards. This position is on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process Check refunds
• Prepares reports and other program documentation
• Prepares graphics presentations and plans
• Manage executive client calendars
• Coordinates meetings/conferences
• Data entry, filing, and proofreading/ edit documents 

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of six (6) years of administrative experience focusing on accounts receivable or related accounting areas
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Responsiveness and reliability
• A very strong eye and attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office suite
• Ability to work independently yet maintain close communication and collaboration with others
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitely
• Ability to obtain a public trust

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting professional services, government or health organizations
