The Accounts Receivable Billing clerk is responsible for the preparation of billing, transmitting data and processing of debits and credits while supporting the accounts receivable manager. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Accounts receivable billing clerk will be responsible for handling various billing tasks daily.
• Will process internal and external requests for documents.
• Is responsible for logging and scanning daily shipping documents into electronic filing system.
• Handles the matching of invoices to shipping documents and processes debits and credits.
• Performs other duties or assists in special projects as assigned by accounts receivable supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of previous accounts receivable experience.
• Previous college experience in accounting is preferred.
• Must have the ability to sort and file numerically.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Should have great attention to detail, accuracy, and speed with inputting information.
• Have a solid understanding of basic arithmetic, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
• Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Able to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Have the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Must have High School or GED
• A pre-employment drug screening excluding THC is required as a condition of employment.
