Position Summary
This position performs behavioral health billing, collection and accounts receivable procedures; monitors and maintains documentation regarding payer reimbursement regulations and procedures; and communicates with clients and staff regarding billing and collection matters.
Qualifications
- High School graduation with two years health insurance experience or post-secondary education equivalent and training in office practices, billing, collections and accounts receivable functions.
- Demonstrated intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and basic Word applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years billing, reimbursement and collections experience in a mental health organization.
- Electronic Health Record systems and billing knowledge.
- Must be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis.
