Pay: $19.50 / hr. - $21.00 /hr Depending on experience

Qualifications
- A high school graduate or the equivalent preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including billing and financial software.
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be able to communicate articulately and comprehend written and verbal communications.
- Must be able to function efficiently in a stressful work environment.
- Must poses general math skills and able to analyze information and report findings.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for review, verification and follow up of hospice consents
- Responsible for review and entering Medicare notice of elections in a timely manner.
- Audits patients consent for election to hospice and enters notice of election for Medicare (81A) As needed:
- Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form lock box and local deposits
- Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
- Maintains records by scanning invoices, debits, and credits.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results
