Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Collections Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis! The ideal candidate will have full cycle AR/Collections experience with the ability to jump right into the work. Job Responsibilities:
· 5+ years of AR/Collections experience
· Review POS invoicing to ensure accuracy, make adjustments and post payments
· Reconcile AR accounts
· Issue refunds as needed to ensure collection of monies due
· Research and respond to chargeback requests, and act as a back up to credit manager on credit card chargeback requests
· Prepare and maintain various financial and accounting reports
· Maintain accurate aging reports
· Post cash, check, and credit card payments
Requirements:
· Solid understanding of basic accounting principals (GAAP)
· Excel
· QuickBooks Online
· Must be highly organized with high volume data entry skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication
