We are accepting applications for an experienced Accounts Receivable - AR - Coordinator able to work:
- Full Time
- Monday to Friday
- 8 am to 5 pm
Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Responsible for billing all pay sources and is the financial liaison between the facility and the billing department. Candidates for our Accounts Receivable Coordinator position at Columbine should be seeking a challenging position with a variety of responsibilities to excel in this complex medical accounts receivable field. These duties include:
- Position maintains a variety of roles and is responsible for billing and collection of all SNF payers in his/her facility
- Medicare * Medicaid * Medicare as Secondary
- Contract Providers * Out of Network Payers
- Hospice Ancillary * Supplemental Plans
- Manages and Works Cash duties: Deposits * Refunds * Balancing
- Processes: Ancillary charge entry per census/payer guidelines, balance invoices, including working adjustments, credit, submission to accounts payable with follow-up
- Interdisciplinary communication between business office manager and others in your skilled nursing facility on a daily basis
- Responsible for entire month-end-process including balancing with accounting codes, report analysis, and preparation of closing packet
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Requirements
- Secondary education preferred
- Two or more years experience in Medical Billing preferred
- Skilled nursing or Therapy experience preferred
- Minimum 18 years of age
Computer Skills
- Should have knowledge of database software; internet software and spreadsheet software
- Proficient in Medical Billing Software
- Proficient in 10-key, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Accurate typing skills over 50 wpm.
Compensation
- Starting wage $20.00-$22.00/hr depending on experience
