IMMEDIATE NEED!! Marcum Search LLC has been engaged by our well established Glen Oaks, NY based Real Estate /Property Management client, to identify an Accounts Receivable professional. Property Management or similar A/R experience is highly preferred - will be responsible for tenant accounts. MUST have 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience combined with exceptional client service and follow-up skills . Seeking a self-starter with a great attitude!

Responsibilities
- A/R responsibility for tenant accounts - review and communicate with residents as necessary regarding account status, collections on arrears - late fees, violation charges
- Reconcile 2 bank statements
- Accurate and timely posting charges and credits to appropriate tenant accounts
- Identify and research unapplied cash and determine how to accurately apply the payment to appropriate account/invoice.
- Promptly respond to internal and external requests for status or guidance to apply payments.
- Full cycle of accounts receivable past due balances, including: research, analysis and account reconciliations.
- Batch and post tenant billbacks for work orders, utilities and penalties
- Monitor arrears and make necessary collection efforts
- Run monthly and annual reports
- Deposit and/or post check and ACH payments promptly and accurately
- Send out monthly statements and invoices
- Follow up with accounting related inquiries
- Assist in annual preparation of initial budgets
- Heavy phone and email correspondence
- Property Management A/R experience is highly preferred (resident/tenant accounts)
- Must be level-headed and a self-starter with a GREAT attitude and possess excellent communication and client service skills
- 3+ years of relevant A/R experience
- Experience with online banking
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Pay: $60-$65K DOE plus outstanding benefits!
