Accounts Receivable Lead / Accounting Clerk (SR) - GATR Truck Center

PRIMARY DUTIES WILL CONSIST OF BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in every job completed.
• Process customer requests for charge accounts.
• Review and process monthly customer account statements.
• Answer and assist incoming customer calls as needed related to customer accounts.
• Contact and communicate with department managers from all locations as needed with customer account questions or billing issues.
• Maintain customer past due account lists and contact customers monthly as needed to collect payment
• Create past due letters and submit accounts to collection as needed
• Create and distribute weekly COD reports as needed to all department managers and Directors
• Assist and provide back up for various accounting duties related to unit sales to include; posting unit payments, process flooring payments and reconcile flooring statements, process and review unit costs and prepare deal for final posting, monitor factory OEM receivables, and reconciliation of various GL accounts
• Learn processing of all customer payments and application to accounts to provide back up as needed.
• Project a professional image.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within receptionist / admin support.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Accounting Associates Degree or minimum of 2 years of experience in the field or in related area.
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Office, Word
• Mathematical or Accounting aptitude.
