Lynden Incorporated is on the lookout for a dynamic Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our SeaTac-based team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a dedicated team of six, ensuring the smooth management of our cash applications process, bank file reconciliations, and customer refunds. You’ll play a crucial part in supporting Accounts Receivable for over 20 companies, collaborating with teams who specialize in billing/invoicing as well as credit and collections. What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the 20 subsidiaries/sister companies within the Lynden family of companies.
- Manage and mentor the Accounts Receivable team of 6 to ensure our customer service meets the service level standards set.
- Oversee the accurate and timely recording of customer cash receipts and account adjustments and processing of customer refunds.
- Help implement our new financial management system, Workday Financial.
- Calculate and report accounts receivable metrics to ensure efficiency, effectiveness of processes, and meeting expectations of our service level standards.
- Maximize automation of cash applications in our receivables software, High Radius.
- Oversee Lynden’s merchant services portal including providing support to users and working with IT to troubleshoot technical issues with data and devices.
- Reconcile bank files to third party cash application systems and ERP.
- Manage credit card charge-backs to minimize Lynden’s expense.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and manage related projects.
- Support the implementation of a new financial system, acting as a liaison between the implementation team and Accounts Receivable team to ensure a successful transition.
What we need from you (minimum requirements):
- 5 years accounts receivable experience.
- 5 years managerial experience.
Preference if you also have:
- Workday ERP or Oracle EBS software experience is a plus.
- Shared service experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school in relevant subject.
Your work schedule:
- Hybrid schedule with minimum 3 days onsite at our corporate office and 2 days offsite.
- Tuesday and Wednesday are onsite days for Financial Services.
- This position is not eligible for relocation.
- Available core hours Monday – Friday.
- Occasionally it may be required to work hours outside the normal schedule.
