ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

Temp-Hire Opportunity

Location: Pico Rivera, CA

Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm

The company is a supplier of branded, high-quality stainless-steel sanitary fittings, valves, and tubing.

Sells to wholesalers and distributors who service the food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

• Daily end of day Order Invoicing
• Deposits of trade receivable payments
• Run Credit Card payments
• Posting trade receivable payments to the appropriate customer’s account
• Reconciling any payment disputes, including over/short payments

Credit and Collections

• New account credit and reference checks
• Communicating with delinquent accounts
• Responding to requests for credit references from vendors
• Responding to requests for invoice/credit memo copies / back-up

Sales Returns

• Assist sales team with documenting, creating, and following up on sales returns and associated credit memos for customer returns

Administrative

• Responsible for sales order printing and delivering order paperwork to the warehouse
• Assist management with updating miscellaneous reports (sales reports, freight cost reports, etc)
• Assist with other data entry responsibilities
• Other miscellaneous administrative duties

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years in accounts receivable related function
• Accounting Background (preferred)
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Well organized and a self-starter
• Works well under deadline pressure, ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
• Excellent typist and data entry skills
• Experience with Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
