Tang & Company is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Accounts Receivable Representative II to support our billing operations and ensure accuracy in our invoicing process. Working under general supervision, you will play a critical role in helping Tang & Company maintain a steady cash flow by processing accurate and timely healthcare claims, invoices, and statements.
What You’ll Do:
As an Accounts Receivable Representative II, you’ll handle a range of responsibilities that contribute directly to our reimbursement process and financial health:
- Generate healthcare claims, invoices, and statements according to established billing cycles and procedures.
- Review charges and payor information prior to billing to minimize underpayments, denials, and re-bill attempts.
- Identify and address price discrepancies by collaborating with Account Management and the A/R Manager to ensure accurate billing.
- Submit healthcare claims and invoices with applicable claim numbers or purchase orders based on service type requirements.
- Process weekly billing batch files, resolving any exceptions to ensure successful import into the billing system for invoice generation.
- Appeal denied claims or invoices using appropriate supporting documentation to facilitate payment consideration.
- Analyze and resolve "Rejected" and "No Response" claims within Daisy Bill, working to successfully transition claims to "Accepted" status (specific to healthcare claims).
- Maintain up-to-date billing demographics for claims administrators and employer accounts, including contact names, addresses, billing preferences, and purchase orders.
- Act as a point of contact for insurance or customer inquiries, offering clear explanations regarding billing details and services provided.
- Ensure compliance with Tang & Company’s Privacy and Confidentiality standards when handling Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
