POSITION OVERVIEW
Orange Barrel Media is looking for a versatile Staff Accountant with great communication skills, attention to detail and enthusiastic attitude. Self-motivated individual with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review sales contracts and build corresponding billing and revenue schedules in adherence with OOH advertising terms
- Create and send invoices, including proof of performance reports, and statements for all entities
- Deposit cash daily and reconcile balance to bank
- Ability to work through complex revisions to meet client expectations
- Facilitate timely payment from customers and coordinate collection of aged receivables
- Work directly with the sales department to coordinate accounts receivable statuses and collection updates
- Customer management and maintaining aging schedules
- Respond to internal and external emails timely and notify management when issues arise
- Maintain delinquent accounts receivable listings to sales
- Provide monthly updated delinquent accounts receivable listings to Assistant Controller, Controller and COO
- Prepares timely and accurate monthly financial statements for subsidiaries.
- Assists in preparation of documents for annual audits of the various entities.
- Additional general accounting, finance, ad hoc reporting, and other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent ability in Excel
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with minimal direction
- Attention to detail, accuracy and documentation of work
- Self-motivated with a preference for working in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and improve current processes
