Your Mission:Responsible for functions in Accounts Receivable (A/R), as well as assisting with special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs billing, collection, and cash posting functions for assigned care centers and payors.
• Coordinates with operational team to ensure accurate and timely billing.
• Communicates with residents, insurance, and other payors to resolve any billing issues and any discrepancies on payments.
• Reviews billing system reports and works with department leadership to ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue and billing generation.
• Meets required collections and cash flow targets, and month-end close deadlines.
• Maintains monthly cash receipt spreadsheets, and reconcile to deposits in the bank.
• Files claims for reimbursement with Medicare and insurance companies.
• Assists accountants in reconciling A/R subledger balance to general ledger balance.
• Assists with filing and A/R reporting for accounting department.
• Assists with all other projects and special assignments as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience with Medicare claims billing required. Skilled nursing billing experience preferred.

• Experience processing high volume transactions.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of health care operations is preferred.
• Analytical skills with problem solving ability. Can review output and recognize problems.
• Able to work with people as well as with numbers.
• Possesses intermediate Excel skills.
• Minimum two years related experience, with multi-facility experience a plus.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
