Accounts Receivable Supervisor - Jefferson County Health Center

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Accounts Receivable supervisor manages all functions of the organization’s business office to maximize cashflow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations. This individual will work with and contribute to the day-to-day functions of the business office, billing, cash posting, and collection staff to resolve issues and help improve functionality of the Revenue Cycle. This role will be responsible for training, analyzing, and creating written procedure and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years in a revenue cycle leadership position required.
• Experience with automated systems and strong knowledge in PC Programs, MS Office and Web-based programs and research required.
• Experience and knowledge of accounts receivable, medical terminology, customer service and/or billing and collection is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions
• Strong attention to detail
