Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable processes, along with proficiency in SAGE 300. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and adjustments.
Monitor customer accounts for timely payment and follow up on overdue invoices.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions in SAGE 300.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Generate and distribute monthly account statements to customers.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper billing and collection.
Assist in the preparation of month-end closing reports and account reconciliation.
Prepare AR aging reports and provide status updates to management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and balances.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
Proficiency in SAGE 300 is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume transactions.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
