Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ACME Operator to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the quality of parts produced in our machine shop. The successful candidate will work primarily on the first shift, and will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform hands-on quality checks on different parts coming off the machine.
+ Conduct internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
+ Discuss corrective actions with machinists and other employees regarding quality issues.
+ Maintain ISO 9001 documentation.
+ Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with Machine Shop Quality, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control.
+ Proficiency in inspection techniques, including GD&T, and the use of thread gauges, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
+ Experience with ISO 9001 standards and quality systems management.
+ Ability to develop and implement corrective action plans.
+ Leadership experience in a quality-related role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience within the fastener, stamping, and screw machine industries.
+ Familiarity with quality system documentation and audit processes.
