We are seeking anAcquisition Analyst to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Acquisition Analyst will provide support to the Missile Systems IPT Leads of PMA-280.
Functional Description:Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA). Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
Duties: Tasks in support of the Missile Systems IPTL will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee Acquisition efforts for all IPT Project Teams with PID generation and other acquisition duties including SOWs/SOOs, CDRLs, Streamlines Acquisition Plans (STRAPs), Acquisition Strategy Briefs, Justification & Approvals (J&As), PMT/CDRL Tool guidance, etc.
- Advise IPTLs on Acquisition Regulations, Thresholds, and PMA-280 Acquisition Processes/Procedures
- Attend and support Procurement Planning Conferences, Acquisition Strategy Briefs, Data Requirements Review Boards (DRRB), Contract Status Meetings, Program Management Meetings, etc.
- Generate informational reports utilizing the PMT database and other information available in the PMA.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree OR an Associate's Degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's OR 6 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's.
Required Experience: Three to ten years of experience performing duties described in the functional description and task list.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
