Axient is seeking an Acquisition Program Specialist - Journeyman to support our team at Eglin AFB, FL. 

What you will do...:

 

• Assist program managers in meeting guidance in FAR, DoD 5000.2 and other applicable documents and regulations, systems, and guides.  
• Defining, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the execution of the Configuration Management and Data Management process.
• Serve as the primary source for information and analysis on Data Management (DM) and Configuration Management (CM) secondary, including managing baselines and managing changes to baselines.
• Define, implement, monitor and review the execution of the CM/DM process.
• Maintain data quality, integrity and security of the CM/DM database, and assist in the management, maintenance and automation of CM/DM tools.
• Monitor CM/DM performance of programs to ensure department policy and procedures and regulatory requirements are met and that configuration and processing timeliness and accuracy requirements are achieved.
• Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
• Execute process controls and ensures staff comply with process and data standards.
• Perform various administrative duties as needed to support the  Systems Engineering IPT, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating special projects, submitting reports, and creating procedures and manuals for essential functions.

Skills you will need...:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain or have an active and transferrable DoD SECRET security clearance with current investigation at the required level.
• Associates Degree + 10 years Recent Experience
• Or, Bachelor's IRD + 5 yrs Recent Experience 
• Or, Master's IRD + 2 yrs Recent Experience is required.

Desired Experience

• 1 year CM/DM experience of CMMI certification desired.
• Knowledge of SharePoint or PLM Systems TeamCenter, and WindChill, preferred.
