Axient is seeking an Acquisition Security Management Specialist - Journeyman to support our customer in Eglin AFB, FL.
What you will do...:- Apply knowledge and experience to support the execution of all aspects of acquisition program security throughout a program’s life cycle IAW all applicable Government directives relating to SAPs, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and collateral security requirements. This includes but is not limited to working with Government and program prime and subcontractor personnel to create a secure environment through development of sound security practices and policies regarding acquisition, physical, personnel and documentation security; updating security classification guides; preparing acquisition security related sections of acquisition program documentation; reviewing Contractor deliverables; evaluating program information and hardware throughout the program life cycle; planning and implementing security-related surveys, assessments, and studies; and evaluating program security information and hardware throughout the program life cycle (to include studies, analyses, plans, procedures, production, test plans/results, transportation, technology, and storage of end items).
- System Security Documents. Provide knowledge and experience in development of system security management plans, program protection plans, security risk analyses, Operations Security (OPSEC) plans, computer assessment and authorization, security vulnerability and countermeasures analyses, security CONOPS, and other system security engineering-related documents identified in MIL-STD 1785, DoDI 5000.02, Air Force Supplement 1, and DoDI 8510.01.
- Program Security Management. Provide knowledge and experience in acquisition program security management:
- Database/Classified Holdings. Maintain databases that reflect receipt, storage, inventory, and disposition of classified information to include data entry, updates, and generation of reports.
- Participate in audits of Government classified holdings to ensure proper accountability.
- Database/Visitors. Maintain databases of classified visits and clearance levels.
- Classified Information. Perform inspection, inventory, logging, storage, documentation, transmittal and internal distribution of classified information received.
- System Security Classification Guide (SSCG) Compliance. Evaluate classified data submittals for compliance with the appropriate SSCG.
- Security Protection. Provide security inspection and protection to areas where classified information is stored and design and establish security procedures and policies.
- Security Training. Develop and provide security awareness and other security education programs.
- Personnel Security Program. Review and verify qualifications for access to special access programs.
- Communication Security. Develop, implement and maintain a communications security program.
- The Contractor may be appointed as primary/alternate Special Security Representatives (SSR) and be required to complete SSR duties/functions, to include opening/closing the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. Contractors may also be appointed as primary/alternate Communication Security Responsible Officer (CRO) and be required to complete all duties/functions associated with the appointment.

- Associates + 10 yrs RE or
- Bachelors IRD + 5 yrs RE
