Responsibilities:Are you looking for an opportunity to develop the future GEOINT Ground Architecture that will provide the user community with capablities in a modular, open architectur to deliver global, persistant, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information? Come join our Overhead Persistent Infrared team as a SETA contractor on the Geralt Program.
In this position as an Acquisition Specialist, you will:
- Assist government procurement agencies develop acquisition strategies, work statements, evaluation plans and qualify vendors.
- Oversee the entire acquisition life cycle, from pre-award planning through solicitation preparation, contract award, contract administration and contract close-out.
- Apply knowledge of the defense acquisition process in the analysis and improvement of acquisition process policy and procedures to devise strategies for deploying and implementing new acquisition policy initiatives and measuring the effectiveness of implementation.
- Use quantitative analytical techniques to assess system acquisition process issues and develop risk reduction/mitigation approaches for improving acquisition/program planning, control, and execution.
- Develop acquisition plans, source selection documents (including evaluation criteria), Independent Government Cost Estimates, justifications and approvals, synopses, and requests for proposals/quotes/bids.
- Generate pre-award technical documentation (solicitation, IGCE, Technical Evaluation Plan (TEP) and Technical Evaluation Report).
Required:
- Requires a technical degree: 12-15 years with BS/BA or 10-13 years with MS/MA
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
- Intelligence Community experience and work history
- Minimum of five years supporting DoD/IC programs
- Demonstrated performance as an individual contributor working across integrated customer/contractor project and functional teams to deliver capabilities
Desired:
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Program Management
