The ACS Capacity Management Supervisor prepares, analyzes, and reports data to improve the utilization of the DHL Express Air Network movements within the ACS Capacity tools. Engages with Sales and clients to quote and support pricing of capacity.
Key Accountabilities:
+ Capacity Planning – Work with Network Planning to determine ACS capacity availability. Translate that information into “inventory for sale” via the ACS capacity management system – Clive. Creates Allocation proposals; adjusts allocations as needed.
+ Assists the day to day operation, responsible for performing price quotations adjusting capacity levels within the ACS capacity tools.
+ Work with the hubs and service centers to improve ULD capacity utilization in order to improve ACS revenue opportunities.
+ Work with Load Control to plan full utilization of flights
+ Work with 3 rd Party Handlers on shipment processing, ULD build-up, and transportation
+ Oversees management/operations of ACS Key Accounts
+ Assists in maximizing revenue by performing capacity utilization analyses, and translating the findings into operational and product recommendations.
+ Develops standard and ad-hoc reports to identify data integrity failures; performs thorough analysis to identify root causes for failure and makes recommendations for solutions.
+ Produces reports for all upper management that draw data from various sources to aid in tracking business unit objectives.
+ Takes part in various departmental projects and processes to represent ACS.
+ Assist in training efforts for assigned DHL business unit/s.
+ Provides functional guidance, advice and/or training to less-experienced Capacity management professionals.
+ Skill & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred; experience and demonstrated record of success in lieu of bachelor degree acceptable
+ Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), database and web-based applications
+ Highly competent compiling data in Excel, and being able to perform analysis and draw insights. Access, VB, etc. a plus.
+ Ability to work within a team environment.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills - must be adept at presenting ideas and concepts to groups in both formal and informal settings.
