Job Summary:
This position is responsible for carrying out resident activities of a community including all internal activities under the direction of the Activities Director.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Assist Activity Director in assuring compliance with State regulations and company policy and procedures in the conduct of the activity program for
- Follow activities schedule as written with minimal change and cancellation.
- Promote all activities within the building in order to improve resident
- Comply with spending budget for activity supplies and entertainment.
- At direction of Activity Director, assure one-on-one activity with residents who do not participate in large group or small group activities.
- Assist Activity Director in maintaining activity areas, including common areas and storage areas, in organized, uncluttered, appropriately decorated manner.
- Assist in scheduling new activities, special functions, holiday events,
- Keep accurate list of residents’ activity attendance.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in senior care activities, either as an employee or volunteer, is strongly preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements:
Must have a current Tuberculosis skin test or chest x-ray. Must pass criminal background check. Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
Essential Skills:
Able to communicate in written form and complete documentation as required by state and company policies. Individual must be pleasant, professional, and personable.
