Position Overview:
The Activities Coordinator is responsible for developing, facilitating and documenting events at our affordable properties in compliance with state regulations. The Activities Coordinator will lead group events to ensure the function of the event will run smoothly. Such events may include; educational, financial literacy, birthday parties, socials, informative talks, tutoring sessions, athletic games, and other events as assigned.

- Position requires traveling throughout Central and Southern New Jersey
- Contract to Permanent opportunity!
- Pay-rate: $19.00 / hour
- Hours: Three days a week will be either 10am-6:30pm or 11am-7:30pm. Two days a week will be 8am-4:30pm.
- Requires on-site work and ability to travel to other locations in New Jersey

Activities Coordinator Job Duties:
- Develop calendars for each property for activities.
- Attend events at properties as scheduled.
- Ensure that the room has adequate space and seating for the number of residents that has signed up.
- Engage with residents in a professional manner.
- Maintain required paperwork.
- Work with Social Services Coordinator to ensure that all materials needed for event are purchased and ready in a timely manner.
- Refer any issues/case management questions to Social Service Coordinator immediately.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Activities Coordinator Job Qualifications:
- Must have a high school diploma, experience working with the public is a plus.
- Must have valid driver's license and method of own transportation. Must be willing to travel.
- Working some evenings it a must. Coordinator must be flexible, empathetic, creative, organized and patient.
