Now Hiring:

Full-Time Activities Director 

Responsibilities:

• Develop an activity program that is both sufficiently diverse and sensitive to our resident’s needs.
• Determine individual resident interests and expectations regarding preferred programing.
• Conduct assessments to ascertain physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities of each resident.
• Supervise and participate in events alongside department.
• Other duties as assigned by Administrator.

Qualifications: 

• Prior experience managing staff is preferred.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required

Qualified Applicants MUST posess at least ONE of the following characteristics: 

• Have had at least Two years Experience in a Social or Recreational Program within the last Five years.
• Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
• Activity Professional Certificate
• Qualified Occupational Therapist
• Occuapation Therapist Assistant
