Activities Director - Skilled Nursing and Rehab Care

Full Time Activities Director Needed for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Pawtucket, RI area!

• Fulltime Monday through Friday role
• Some weekend coverage as needed in rotation

Requirements: 

• Must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or an activities professional who is licensed in Rhode Island, and is eligible for certification as a recreation specialist or as an activities professional; or
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience in a social or recreation program within the last five (5) years, one (1) of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a health care setting
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
• Must possess skills to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Must have interpersonal skills to interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
• Covid vaccination (either primary series or a recent booster)
