Activities Specialist

Full Time | Day and Evening Shift | 8:30am-5pm and occasional 10:30am-7pm

What will I do as a Activities Specialist?

• MDS, documentation, assessment completion and data entry for assigned caseload.
• Transport residents to/from programming safely
• Implement programming on the calendar, LEADS activities daily.
• Help with planning specialized programs per manager.
• Record program attendance
• Cover for department manager during vacations
• Creation and maintenance of activity resources, packets, schedules, lists for resident use.
• Use technology devices to create and execute programming including laptop, iPad, Crestron system.
• Assist with special campus events.
• Drive campus shuttle cart or possibly other facility vehicles for resident tours on occasion
• Works with volunteers to execute programming and events.

What is required in this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational, Music or Art Therapy, COTA, related field OR extensive experience in long term care activities
• 1+ years' experience in a senior living setting, preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft office, basic knowledge of iPad functions/support, ability to learn technology systems.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
