About the Job
Position Summary:
The Activities Assistant will organize and implement activities as outlined by the Activities Director to ensure all patients/residents’ assessed needs are met. They will participate, coordinate and lead as directed, activities for patients and residents in the facility and out in the community.
Responsibilities:
1) Leads, organizes and participates as outlined and directed by the facility Activities Director, the Activity Programs toensure allpatients'/residents'assessed needs aremet
2) Develops and maintains a good working rapport with other departments within thefacilityandoutsidecommunityhealth,welfareandsocialagencies,toensure that activity programs are properly maintained to meet the needs of the patients/residents.

Qualifications:
· 1) Must have excellent communication skills, especially verbal/oral communication
· 2) Must be able to work as part of a team, i.e., he/she must be an excellent team player
· 3) Ability to work with little or no supervision
· 4)Good interpersonal skills
· 5) He/she must prove to be extremely reliable
· 6) Must have excellent time management abilities
· 7) Isknowledgeable ofpatient/residentrights andpromotes anatmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
