Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000

Position: Actuarial Analyst
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join their team!
This exciting opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in the financial reporting process, supporting reserve development and valuation measures
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys the challenge of analyzing and organizing complex financial data
As the company prepares to transition to a new location in the next year, this role will initially be hybrid but is expected to become more onsite once the move is complete
Currently, candidates should be comfortable with an onsite schedule, as this is critical to the company's future plans.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and maintenance of policy and claim reserves for Life, Health, and Annuity products
Maintain and update valuation software, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
Organize reserve schedules and other financial data to support the production of financial statements, analytics, and external reports
Collaborate closely with other departments, including Accounting, to deliver precise and timely results
Provide additional support for Actuarial Services’ tasks and projects as needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field
1-5 years of experience in the life and supplementary health insurance industry
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with database utilities like Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server Management.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with statutory financial reporting functions and requirements
Strong organization, math, and critical thinking skills, with a high attention to detail
Interest in pursuing the SOA examination pathway, though not required.
