About the Job
Mercy Health - St. Ritas Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is seeking a full-time acute care nurse practitioner to work nights in our busy Intensive Care Unit.
Education and Skills Required:
- Certified by AANP or like certification for Nurse Practitioners.
- Current licensure with the state of Ohio as an ACNP.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Position Highlights:
- Admit and manage critically ill patients.
- Respond to all code blues in hospital.
- Ability to receive training on procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, intubations, Swan-Ganz, CVVH, and ECMO.
Details:
- 424 bed Regional Referral Center
- 18 bed Intensive Care Unit
- 12-hour night shifts- 5pm to 5am
- 7 on / 7 off schedule with 21 days of PTO annually
- Supported by 24/7 Intensivist coverage
- Ability to perform a variety of bedside ICU procedures is a plus, bedside ultrasound available
- Multiple dedicated specialists ready and available for consultation
