Adjudication and Billing Coordinator - Merakey

Life Tree is looking for a Pharmacy Claims Adjudicator for its corporate facility in Collegeville, PA.



About Us:

Life Tree Pharmacy is a for profit subsidiary of Merakey and works with a wide range of facilities and programs to support individuals in the Behavioral Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disability communities.



About the Position:

Experience in dealing with third party insurance carriers, verbally and electronically to achieve the best possible prescription drug regime for our consumers.


* To request follow-up and obtain prior authorizations from insurance carriers when applicable.
* Answers incoming calls, directs to Pharmacist, when appropriate, such as new prescriptions, questions about medication, judgmental decision, etc.
* Completes and processes third-party documents.
* Also performs Pharmacy Technician responsibilities when deemed necessary by his/her supervisor.

The successful candidate will have the following:


* Pharmacy and data entry and adjudication preferred.
* Proficient computer entry experience necessary with a good understanding of medical abbreviations and drug knowledge.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as prescriptions, Physician Order, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
* To perform this job successfully and individual should have knowledge of Frameworks LTC and Docutrack.
