Adjunct Faculty Position - Calculus II (Mathematics)
The Mathematics Department at Covenant College invites applications for an adjunct professor
to teach Calculus II in Spring 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach an undergraduate course on single-variable calculus which covers advanced
integration techniques, applications of integration, parametric curves, polar
coordinates, and sequences and series, in the context of a Christian perspective - Lesson plans, assignments, and exams can be provided upon request. The
instructor will be responsible for modifying or customizing course materials to their
liking, grading assignments, responding to student inquiries, and submitting grades.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to the mission of Covenant College
- Completion of at least 18 hours of graduate courses in mathematics from an
accredited institution is required. An M.S. or higher in mathematics, engineering,
physics, or other related field from an accredited institution is preferred. - Expertise in the subject area
- Teaching experience preferred
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Interested and qualified candidates should
