Coahoma Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for a part-time position as Adjunct Instructor of Voice beginning Fall 2023-2024 academic year.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- The qualified candidate will:
- Teach applied/individual voice classes to freshmen and sophomore students.
- Prepares students for student recitals and final jury examinations at the end of each semester.
- Provides a quality learning experience for all students in accordance with their needs and abilities while maintaining the basic integrity of the course’s standards and objectives.
- State clear objectives and criteria in the course syllabus; maintain an accurate grade book and attendance record.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience, qualifications, and abilities including:
- Masters degree invoice.
- Strong teaching experience in classical and musical theatre.
- Music performance skills and pedagogy.
Preferred Experience:
We prefer candidates that are able to show evidence of good accompaniment skills (but not a requirement).
