Position Summary | TheDivision of Hospital Medicine, within the Department of Internal Medicine, isseeking an Administrative Assistant 2. The Division of Hospital Medicineis currently seeking a motivated self-starter who is interested in becoming avalued member of the team. This person should have excellentcommunication skills, value customer service, be detail oriented and haveproven time management skills. The Administrative Assistant 2 will be thefirst line of communication for our faculty, vendors and residents andtherefore should possess the ability to communicate effectively over the phoneand in person. Computer skills and basic math skills are essential. Thiscandidate will perform a variety of administrative support duties for theDivision to include: assist the Division Chief, reception duties, answeringphones, filing, processing financial transactions, maintaining minutes ofmeetings, assisting with event planning, performing data entry, assist withfaculty credentialing, maintaining schedules and provide assistance in areas offaculty recruitment-hiring-orientation. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
