In this role, you will provide administrative support to our Credit Management department. Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months administrative/office experience.

Duties:

• Answer phone professionally and promptly, directing calls within department from members, employees, and outside agencies, and filing / scanning paperwork in appropriate member files for each aspect of the Credit Management process.
• Distributes mail to appropriate recipients within the department.
• Typing of correspondence for credit management department with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Professionally responds and assists members who may have negative shares, delinquent loans, repossessions, or fraud on their account.
• Posting payments to delinquent loans and/or deposits to negative accounts.
• Participate in staff meetings and attends other meetings, seminars or training.

Skills/ Requirements

• Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to utilize a computer; must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
• Superb customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Answer inbound calls professionally and route to appropriate party.
• Ability to speak with members regarding sensitive information.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Prior experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Must be available to work Mon - Thurs 9am - 5:30pm and Friday 9:30am - 6pm
