About the Job
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Aide to join their sales and purchasing department in the Ballston Spa, NY, area. This role involves data entry, customer correspondence, and supporting office functions in a fast-paced environment. It's a long-term temporary opportunity with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
• Enter data within order systems, including QuickBooks and Salesforce.
• Update and maintain spreadsheets in MS Excel; knowledge of basic formulas is a plus.
• Create and send electronic correspondence to buyers, confirming purchase orders.
• Support the sales and purchasing teams with administrative tasks as needed.• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications of the Administrative Aide:
• Minimum of one year of previous office support experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Must have reliable transportation.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $18 to $22 per hour.
