Overview
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide essential support. As the HR Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the department director and ensuring smooth operations within the HR function. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain a positive workplace culture and streamline various HR processes. This opportunity is ideal for a self-driven individual looking to grow with a great company. The ideal candidate will have HR administrative experience, be dependable, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, and possess a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing materials and coordinating orientation sessions.
• Review and correct employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance with company policies for over 100 employees.
• Update internal systems with employee data and access information.
• Prepare and maintain confidential files in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Process paperwork related to security clearances and background checks.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, comprehensive files and reports.
• Assist in company-wide HR events and employee recognition activities.
• Provide administrative support to the department director.
• Assist with employee recognition communications and activities.
• Order office supplies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an office environment.
• Knowledge of HR administrative processes and procedures.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with payroll or timesheet administration.
• Knowledge of health benefit plans administration.
• Familiarity with I-9 and E-Verify processing.
• Experience with generating and reviewing background checks.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn.
