Administrative Analyst, Loss Control - WCF Insurance

Do you love organizing, greeting, and coordinating, but also love technology, excel, data, and metrics. This may be the position for you. We need someone who would be interested in helping register and coordinate safety seminars and work with our business intelligence team and excel to dig into data.

Position

The Safety and Risk Management department at WCF Insurance has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join our team as an Administrative Analyst. This is a full-time exempt position based out of our Sandy, Utah headquarters. Neither Safety experience nor safety degree are required or needed for this role.

The person in this position will be in an office area with few other people on a regular basis. Many of our safety consultants work in the field. Ability to work independently and in a quiet environment required. On seminar days, this person will be registering and greeting policyholders. Ability to interact with others also required.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze claims, safety, and underwriting data to focus prevention efforts
• Provide both detailed and summary reports to safety & risk consultants and management.
• Organize and create presentations using visual methods such as graphs and charts.
• Work with strategic business units to keep them informed of agents or policyholders who request help.
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and registration of safety training seminars.
• Respond to inquiries regarding loss runs, experience modifiers, safety posters, safety brochures, and safety training schedules.
• Perform general office support functions and administrative activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field or a combination of education and experience totaling five years.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including letter composition, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Advanced proficiency of Excel and the other Microsoft office products.
• Proficiency in creating charts, graphs, and visuals from data.
• General office experience or formal training that would lead to knowledge of professional office procedures and business practices.
• Must have experience with Power BI and SQL.
