Job Description: Administrative role to assist with the Tax department with administrative tasks.
Must haves:
- 1-3 years Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- 1-3 years Administrative experience
- Retrieve Data from information systems, such as invoices, tax exemption certificates, business licenses, etc. in support of government audits
- Work on special projects as needed.
- Respond to requests from customers and vendors for copies of tax documents, such as W-9 forms, business licenses, sales tax exemption certificates, etc. and assist in maintaining the repository of such commonly requested forms.
- Perform general administrative duties and support for the tax department.
- Always represent the company in a professional manner.
- Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company, including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
- Manually uploading certificates and data validation
- Follow established procedures and guidelines to provide timely and effective clerical support.
- Gather, compile, and verify information and enter it accurately into documents (such as reports, presentations or forms) and office systems (such as SharePoint sites, databases, billing software, or spreadsheets).
- Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
- Other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Experience supporting multiple functions in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred.
- Poise and maturity to interact with individuals outside and inside the organization.
- Prioritize and manage deadlines when dealing with multiple tasks combined with the ability to work with a sense of urgency when needed.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to explore and quickly learn other software applications required.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Very strong organization and verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills that are professional, enthusiastic and cooperative.
