This position is an integral part of a highly motivated and customer service-oriented agency in support of six Pioneer Homes and the Central Office.

What You Will Be Doing:
This position performs a variety of administrative support tasks in support of the division; includes reception, management and tracking assisted living home applications and waitlists, creating and maintaining reports, processing information in electronic health records system and administrative paperwork.

This job is in the State Office Building located at 333 Willoughby, Suite 757 in Juneau, Alaska. Imagine reporting to work where you can enjoy a team-oriented setting, with parking and easy access to all of the amenities in downtown Juneau.
Who We Are Looking For:
Position-specific knowledge, skills and abilities that are desired or contribute to the success in this position:
- Skill and experience in administrative processes, equipment, applications and tools necessary to support the operations of a centralized organization, following policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, regulations, and division policies.
- Skill and experience performing administrative tasks in an Electronic Health Records system, processing various forms, letters and other related documentation.
- Proficient interpersonal skill to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and working independently and as part of a team listening, interpreting, explaining, and applying rules and instructions for various groups.
- Skill and ability with time management and dealing with frequently changing priorities.
- Skill and ability in creating and maintaining reports. This includes gathering data, analyzing facts accurately, and determining their application in response to the circumstances, appropriate criteria, rules, regulations and policies.
Special Note:
- This position is in support of six Pioneer Homes, which are 24-hour facilities, one Pharmacy, and the Central Office.
