We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a crucial role where you will be responsible for various administrative tasks, with a strong focus on accounting, billing, scheduling, and healthcare-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Billing:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain financial records and prepare reports as needed.
Healthcare & Scheduling:
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for the team, ensuring all meetings and deadlines are met.
- Handle healthcare-related administrative tasks, such as processing insurance claims, coordinating with healthcare providers, and managing patient records.
General Administrative Duties:
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate with vendors for necessary purchases.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, providing excellent customer service.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, with some background in accounting and billing. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
