About the Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Client's team in Milan, OH. This position is with a local agricultural company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient office management. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine duties including filing, data entry, copying, etc.
- Manage and maintain physical and digital office records.
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail.
- Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors/customers, and maintain a clean reception area.
- Assist with scheduling appointments.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas.
- Draft and proofread correspondences, reports, and other documents. Create and format presentations.
Qualifications:
- MINIMUM two years office administration experience REQUIRED!
- Familiarity with Ohio agriculture and a basic understanding of agribusiness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, excel, power-point, outlook), Organizational and time management, strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and professional demeanor. Ability to work both independently or with a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Associates degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
