About the Job
The State Bar of Texas is seeking an administrative assistant for the Member Benefits Program as part of the Communications Team. This position will support the program by developing marketing materials, tracking vendor contracts, processing and tracking royalties and generating invoices, and answering program inquiries. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of remote work and in office at the discretion of the employer.
1. Develops and coordinates marketing materials for the Member Benefits Program, including materials for State Bar of Texas sponsored events.
2. Works with the State Bar website team to maintain and update the Member Benefits Program website at texasbar.com/benefits.
3. Generates vendor invoices and processes/tracks royalty payments.
4. Responds to member and vendor inquiries.
5. Maintains marketing spreadsheetts for 42+ vendors.
6. Maintains department files.
7. Processes new and existing member benefit vendor contracts.
8. Coordinates other member benefits projects as needed.
9. Performs other responsibilities as required.
A minimum of three years of related experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent customer service skills, writing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. The position will appeal to candidates who are creative, excel under deadlines, and thrive when managing multiple projects. Some travel may be required.
