Administrative Assistant - The Panther Group

The Panther Group has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant in Boston, MA.  

Responsibilities:

• Receptionist & customer service support
  • Receive division mail, sort packages, assist with parking questions, and general customer service inquiries by both internal staff & external visitors.
  • This role will be front-facing at the reception desk.
• Office management
  • Ensure the physical office is running efficiently.
  • Ensure that all areas are clean, organized, well stocked (including stationary and office supplies) and properly functioning.  
  • Address and resolve office-related staff concerns/issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide light technology support to staff members, including by not limited to, new computer set up, printer trouble-shooting, conference room AV, Microsoft Teams support, etc. When further issues arise, direct staff to university IT Department to troubleshoot.
• Administrative support
  • Calendar management of conference rooms onsite.
  • Calendar management for VP of Operations & Planning (head of Operations team) and Operations Director.
• Support the division's People Operations function
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires, including ordering, office set-up, and ensuring account access.  Arrange logistical components of professional development and training sessions of workshops.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Professional communicator.
• Attention to detail, while working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Aptitude with MS Word, Excel.
